Search for artists~
Do you live in or near the 4-Corners area? That's SE Utah,NE Arizona, NW New Mexico or SW Colorado or anywhere close by. The Arts Perspective Magazine out of Durango CO. ( director@artsperspective.com. Heather Leavitt) is looking for gourd artists for their Winter edition. Also looking for publication quality photo's of gourd art. Our news~
I know I have said this before, but this year's gourds are the best yet. They are all symmetrical, thick and just beautiful. We can't wait to bring them in from the field. Waylon has been bringing in some green gourds from the field. I have added some pictures below.
The festival is coming along too. Classes will be posted by 10am Arizona time on October 1st, 2008. The list of classes is the best yet. It should be another great year. We are signing people up for classes a little differently this year. We will be taking reservations for classes over the phone. That way you will be able to pay with a credit card, which will keep all the classes completely up to date as far as availability goes. For the first week or so it will be a little hectic. I do apologize for that. Just bear with us if the phone line is busy and keep trying back.
